GiG Amateau
Between traveling, work projects, house remodeling, and so much fun visiting schools in Virginia and Texas, April about wore me out! Rushing around rapid is my natural gait, but I am looking forward to being still in May. I feel most at rest when I:
- write with a pencil and paper,
- dig up flowers and move them over there,
- brush my horse Albert,
- lean my head on Bubba's shoulder,
- think about my grammy's cerulean blue eyes,
- rub my bare feet on my dog's tummy,
- move through a Warrior I-Warrior II-Triangle -Warrior II sequence,
- watch Judith ride her horse Mia, or
- go down to the James River to watch birds.
Here's my plan: to find some stillness every day in May! Sure, there will be bills, work, deadlines, and laundry. I might remember to breathe through those, too.
